A Free 12-Month Binaural Beats MP3 Program [Download]

To the point: I recommend downloading the free binaural beats MP3 program from http://www.joy-meditation.com

I'm a certified consciousness junkie and am always on a search for cool new tools to expand and refresh the mind. One of the first objects required in a toolbox of such a fella is a good collection of binaural beats tracks on one's music device.

Ok so there are a few options here, none of which are right or wrong but I'm going to chime in my two cents worth anyway from the past few years experimenting.

You can go for a program such as Centerpointe Holosync (Bill Harris), which will leave your purse considerably lighter. Rest in the knowledge that your hard-earned dollars are going into further greasing the cogs on his slick marketing machine.

Some swear by the Holosync binaural beats program, BUT, and this is a word of warning, the program in the mid-to-later levels uses very low carrier frequencies, and thus the chances of severe emotional overwhelm are not insignificant. Most people I know who started Holosync bailed out less than halfway through the full program (that includes myself). I had dropped a grand into the Centerpointe coffers at that stage, but the overwhelm was really messing up my life so I felt justified walking away.

You could go for something more modest on the pocket, say Monroe's Hemi-Sync (a good choice) which is not a program but a brand containing a collection of different products all aimed at different niches. To be honest I have only briefly sampled it on a friend's borrowed iPod some time ago so I can't comment as to it's long-term efficacy but I did like the Hemi-Sync Gateway Experience program over the week or so that I used it.

You could go for something entirely different and opt for a program which uses not binaural beats but isochronic beats/tones. This is more of a beat than the tonal waves of binaural beats (confusing eh!?). Dominant in this space is Project Meditation's Lifeflow program, a 10-level program, each level having a different ambient soundtrack.

I did like Lifeflow but my love for it waned because I don't really get the same trance-like meditation effect from non-binaural beat tracks. They say that there are some binaural beats on their tracks but I certainly can't make it out in the audio, I can only hear the isochronic beats and the ambient sounds (which admittedly are nicely crafted). Lifeflow is good but is hefty also at $770 for the full program.

There are some free audios floating about in different places on the web, but major kudos to this - I was hanging out on the Reddit Meditation forums a while back and found this free program called Joy Meditation.

This is a six-level progressive binaural beats program that has alpha, theta and delta waves in a drop sequence in each track, so the benefits for me (especially using in the mornings) have been notable. What I've found from using it after waking each morning the past six weeks is that I am supercharged creatively - I've been getting amazingly productive days using it, and I have great clarity and peace of mind.

Each level has three different versions, each having different ambient audio soundtracks to keep the experience fresh and interesting. I really like it. It's the first full progressive program that I've found that's totally free.

I actually find it hard to believe that they are giving away a whole program for free as an MP3 download. What i suggest to anyone considering buying any of the above-mentioned paid programs, is to try this first, and see if you like it, and then decide from there.

You can get the program for free at http://www.joy-meditation.com
